He is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in Industrial & Commercial Security.
Mario is a member of the Industrial Security Foundation Sri Lanka, and has served as the Vice President of Sri Lanka Security Service Providers Association (SLASSPA) previously. He is also a distinguished member of the Council of International Investigators (CII), World Association of Detectives (WAD) and holds a significant role as a Leadership Team Member of the Professional Background Screeners Association (PBSA) APAC Chapter.
Since joining Vigilant Security in 1994, Mario has played a pivotal role in shaping the company's trajectory, contributing his wealth of knowledge and leadership to the field of security and investigation.

Thamara Uyangoda, Associate member of AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka), has completed the Advanced Diploma stage from Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka. With an extensive 24-year career in finance, Thamara has been an integral part of Vigilant Security since 2007, contributing her expertise to the company's financial management and success.
Independent Director / Consultant
Brandon is a Business Consultant, Corporate Trainer and Coach. Being the former Group Managing Director of AMW Ltd and having held Leadership positions in leading Corporates, he counts over 30 years of strategic and managerial experience in Sales, Branding, Business Transformation, Portfolio Management, Distribution & Dealership Management, International Trading, Corporate Affairs, Budgeting, Funding, Treasury Management, Compliance & Risk Management, in both Trading and Non-Banking Financial Sectors.
He is a Chartered Marketer, holds an MBA from the Post Graduate Institute of Management University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka and a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.
Brandon was the Past Vice Chairman of the Leasing Association of Sri Lanka and a Director of the Finance Houses Association of Sri Lanka. He has also served on the Executive Committee of the Indo-Sri Lanka Business Council and The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.
Operations Manager
Kawshal Abeydheera, a retired Senior Warrant Officer from the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police with 22 years of distinguished service, brings a wealth of experience to Vigilant Security. During his military career, Kawshal led the Technical Group and Admin Group of the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) and served as part of the United Nations Peacekeeping force in Haiti in 2010.
With specialized training in VVIP protection from the Commando Regiment and a history of being part of the Army Commander's close protection unit, Kawshal's expertise is unparalleled. Joining Vigilant Security in 2018 as a Sector Manager, he was later appointed as Operations Manager in 2022, where he continues to exemplify his commitment to excellence and security.
Technical Manager
Gihan Sampath Kumara, the Technical Manager at Vigilant Security, is a skilled professional with academic qualifications in Electronic Technology from the National Youth Council and Computer Networking & Administration from the National Institute of Business Management. His expertise extends beyond borders, having undergone overseas training at Bosch Security Systems in India and receiving additional training from Hikvision, Rosslare, and Safeway Systems.
With over 12 years of experience in CCTV, Security Alarm, and Security Inspection Equipment, including Walk-Through Metal Detectors and X-Ray Baggage Scanners, Gihan brings a wealth of knowledge to the technical realm. Prior to joining Vigilant Security in 2016, he contributed his skills at SAFREX International Pvt Ltd. and Hikvision Sri Lanka.
Manager Investigation
Keerthi Karunasinghe, Manager of Investigation at Vigilant Security, boasts an illustrious career as a former Assistant Superintendent of Police with 34 years of dedicated service. With a significant tenure of 15 years in the State Intelligence Service, Keerthi has served in crucial roles, including a UN Police Advisor in the UN Mission to Sudan and South Sudan.
Keerthi holds a BA from Sri Jayawardenepura University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Security Studies from Bradford University, UK. His extensive experience and academic prowess uniquely position him as a valuable asset to the investigative arm of Vigilant Security.

Chandima Dayananda, Solutions Manager at Vigilant Security, brings a wealth of experience from his distinguished 22-year career as a retired Officer in the Sri Lanka Navy. Trained overseas in Military studies and qualified in Allied Wireless communications, Chandima's expertise extends beyond borders.
With specialized training from Bosch Security Systems and Hikvision, he possesses over 10 years of hands-on experience in the Electronic Security Solutions industry. Chandima's unique blend of military training and industry-specific knowledge positions him as a key leader in delivering cutting-edge security solutions at Vigilant.
